5th SAE Alumni Convention in Berlin

The fifth SAE ALUMNI CONVENTION will take place, for the fourth time in a row in Berlin, on October 15. and 16. 2009.  Initiated by the SAE ALUMNI Association and organized by SAE Germany, the event offers many opportunities for exchange and networking to members of the organization, SAE students, business partners, and media industry specialists. Furthermore, the extensive convention program offers workshops and panel discussions by and with true experts and representatives of the media industry and SAE professors.

The trade fair that is rapidly becoming an institution will take place on the SAE campus in Berlin, which is located on an area of over 5.000 square meters, which makes it one of the biggest SAE campuses worldwide. The main building with atrium and the side building with gaming lounge offer enough space for over 50 exhibitors to present and display during the event. At their booths and in demo suites the exhibitors, that in the last years included companies such as Apple, Sennheiser, and Digidesign, have the opportunity to present their products and services to an interested professional audience. In addition a recruitment event will allow for them to present open positions and to have personal conversations with interested candidates.

The CONVENTION party, the highlight of the event, will take place on the night of October 15. at the Fritz Club im Postbahnhof in Berlin. Several live acts will take the stage and the winners of the SAE ALUMNI Awards 2009 will be honored.  The participants of the Awards can win prizes in an overall value of over 25.000 Euros. Eligible to participate are current students as well as graduates of private and public educational institutions from around the world. Awards will be presented in the categories of Music Production, Multimedia Production, Short Film, 3D FX / Animation, and Creativity First.
