SAE Institute Hanover

The Hanover Campus opened in September 2017. It is located in the heart of Hanover, a seven-minute walk from the main train station and in a prime location for a relaxing walk along the river Leine.

Campus Overview

Our Institute in the centre of Hanover boasts 1500m² of innovative space design, which promotes exchange, collaboration and networking. It is also equipped with state-of-the-art sound studios, film production studios, a Dolby Atmos mixing cinema, a VR Lab, a 3D printer and much more. In addition to sound theoretical knowledge, you will also gain hands-on experience for a successful career start in the media industry.

SAE Hanover offers

On an accessible area of 1500 m2, you will find five excellently equipped sound studios, film suites, a green screen, VR labs, streaming studios, DJ booths, an event stage and a state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos mixing cinema.
Our innovative campus concept supports creative excellence, fosters exchange, collaboration and networking, and provides opportunities to retreat in a relaxed atmosphere.
Lower Saxony’s unique media hub, point of contact for creative people in Hanover and the surrounding area with excellent connections to the industry in a prime location in the heart of the city.

240 m² workspace equipped with state-of-the-art Apple and Windows computers and industry-relevant software, such as 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, ProTools, Cubase, Ableton Live, Photoshop, Premiere, Avid Mediacomposer, etc...

Stereo Recording & Mixing Studio with an analogue Audient ASP 8024 mixing & recording console
5.1 Postproduction studio with Yamaha Nuage console
Electronic music-production studio with NI Machine, Ableton Push, Moog Subsequent 37, Arturia MatrixBrute, Arturia MiniBrute
Studios for first steps and mastering
7.4.1 Dolby Atmos and DTS-X mixed cinema incl. 3D projector and big screen
DJ Booths with Pioneer DJ 2x PLX1000, 2x DDJ-1000 (also SRT)
Greenscreen studio with connected remote-control room
Film suite with Windows and Mac computers, calibrated monitors, monitoring equipment and colour-grading controllers
VR lab with HTC-Vive Pro and Occulus Rift goggles, as well as PLA and SLA 3D printers
Spacious lounge area with communal kitchen for socializing
